Practice Italian, enjoy the experience
Online sessions in small international groups where we use Italian for real situations — exploring culture, playing games, and living daily life together.
Not traditional lessons. A shared experience.
Most Italian courses follow the same pattern: conjugation tables, grammar explanations, exercises to complete. You study the rules, memorize the exceptions, practice in isolation. Then you try to speak with a real Italian and... nothing comes out.
I've taught Italian for 6 years, to over 140 students. I've delivered more than 4000 classes. And the most common frustration I hear is always the same: "I understand almost everything, but I can't speak." That's because understanding grammar rules and actually using a language are two completely different skills.
So a few years ago, I stopped teaching grammar. Instead, I started creating what I call a laboratorio culturale-linguistico: a cultural-linguistic laboratory.

We meet online in small groups of up to 6 people. Everyone is at a similar level. We're international: people join from all over the world, bringing different perspectives and backgrounds. But students all share one thing: they want to use Italian, not just study it.
During our sessions, we do three types of activities:
L'Italia Quotidiana (Everyday Italy)
We practice real-life situations. Ordering at a restaurant. Following a yoga class in Italian. Cooking a recipe together. Role-playing conversations: asking for directions, making new friends, handling daily interactions. These are the moments where language actually lives, not in a textbook, but in real communication.
L'Italia Autentica (Authentic Italy)
We explore Italian films, songs, podcasts, literature. Not content made for learners, but the real stuff that Italians actually watch, listen to, and read. Pasolini. De André. Contemporary cinema. We don't just consume it passively: we discuss it, analyze it, share opinions. You learn to express what you think, not just repeat what the book says.
L'Italia Giocosa (Playful Italy)
We play board games, trivia, and interactive challenges, entirely in Italian. To move forward in the game, you need to answer simple questions, describe situations, or express opinions. The focus isn't on being correct, it's on communicating. You're so busy trying to win that you forget you're "studying." The language becomes a tool, not the obstacle. And that's exactly when learning happens.

Philosophy
When an activity is enjoyable, your brain lights up. When it's boring, it shuts down.
I don't want you to "follow instructions." I want you to live Italian, have fun while using it, feel like you're part of something, not just studying mechanically.
Hi! I'm a native Italian language teacher who stopped teaching traditional grammar years ago.
Why? Because I kept seeing the same frustration in my students: they knew all the rules, could conjugate verbs perfectly... but froze when speaking with real Italians.
So I created what I call a cultural-linguistic laboratory: not a course in the traditional sense, but a place where we gather online (me and a small group of students from around the world) and use Italian to do things.
What kind of things?
Everyday Italy: Practice real situations: ordering at restaurants, following a yoga class in Italian, cooking recipes together, or role-playing daily conversations (asking for directions, making new friends...).
Authentic Italy: Explore Italian films, songs, podcasts, and literature. We don't just watch or listen: we discuss, analyze, share opinions. Pasolini, De André, contemporary cinema, authentic culture.
Creative Italy: Create together: tell stories, improvise dialogues, play games. Here Italian becomes a tool to express yourself, not just to "answer correctly".
Frequently Asked Questions - FAQ
We meet on Zoom. It's simple, reliable, and works on any device. You don't need any special equipment, just a computer or tablet with a camera and microphone.
Sure, you can ask to participate to a trial class; then you can choose whether to register or not.
